Informasjon om Gabór Gyulai:

Gabor Gyulai is coordinator of the refugee programme and a trainer at the Hungarian Helsinki Committee. He is currently working on the European “CREDO” project (financed by the European Refugee Fund), which aims at improving credibility assessment in asylum procedures in the EU, through research, guidance and training. The UNHCR, the International Association of Refugee Law Judges and Asylum Aid (UK) are partners in this initiative: http://helsinki.hu/en/credo-%E2%80%93-improving-credibility-assessment-in-eu-asylum-procedures.

Gyulai is writing a training manual on the topic. For several years he has been working as a trainer on asylum and statelessness-related issues, and in this framework he has trained asylum officers, lawyers, judges, NGO and UNHCR staff from many countries across Europe and Latin-America – including staff of Landinfo in Norway.

Gyulai has also addressed a EURASIL (European asylum authorities + European Commission) meeting on the issue of credibility assessment.
