UDI and UNE treat Syria matters

UDI and UNE is now processing asylum claims from Syria – after the proceedings were put on hold for nearly 14 months.

The uncertain security situation in Syria is new information that may provide a basis for a reconsideration of the asylum application. NOAS has received signals that have been given inaccurate information about what is required of each applicant that the information should be considered in the case. NOAS want to make the Syrian asylum seekers aware that if they have a final rejection from UNE, they must turn to NOAS, or directly to UNE, and request that the decision be reversed.

We provide the following information to other Syrian asylum seekers at different stages of the process:
